How do I book during a presale? Anyone eligible to book during a presale will usually receive an email beforehand containing a password or a secure link which allows access to the tickets. This will be sent directly from the fan club or venue – wherever you signed up for the presale.

Presales are a way for an artist to give their biggest fans early access to tickets. Before tickets go on sale, artists and their teams tell us how many tickets they want to make available, the price of the ticket, and when they want the sale(s) to start.

Ticketmaster Presale

If you're eligible for the presale, you'll receive an email with an access link. The criteria for receiving the email varies, so we can't confirm in advance whether you'll be eligible. If you don't receive presale access, you can still access the general sale!

To get presale tickets on Ticketmaster, you'll need a presale code, which you can obtain from various sources such as the artist or band, Ticketmaster, Live Nation, or the venue hosting the event. Once you have the code, visit the Ticketmaster page for the concert or tour you're interested in.

Make sure you click or tap Registration Presale or Fan Presale on the ticket selection page. Make sure the event is on sale. Access codes are sent out before the event goes on sale but won't work until the event is actually on sale. You must be signed in with the same email address you used to register.

Join the fan club from the artist's official fan club site. As a club member, you'll get a unique presale code before the upcoming ticket presale starts. Some artists give fans the chance to buy tickets and a fan club membership together during their presales on Ticketmaster.com — so you won't need a presale code.

If you try to access the presale by going through the main website, unfortunately you won't be able to access tickets –these presales can usually only be accessed via a separate hidden link. Please note that access to presales doesn't guarantee you tickets and only gives you a chance to book before the general sale.

Receive an Offer Code

Those who registered during the registration window and pass the Ticketmaster analysis will then be randomly selected to receive an offer code from Ticketmaster.

Are Presale Tickets More Expensive? There aren't a lot of controls on pricing practices for tickets, but in general, presale tickets aren't any more expensive than buying at the public sale.

From the ticket purchase page, follow these steps: Use the dropdown to select the amount of tickets you'd like to purchase. Tap the Filters button to sort the list of tickets by price and section or select a group of tickets under Ticket Type. If you're purchasing tickets during a presale, tap Unlock to add your code.

On the day of the ticket sale, get onto the site ten minutes before the tickets are released, then refresh the page 10 seconds before the release time to improve your chances of getting to the front of the queue.
