If you've been relying on cranberry juice and Red Bull to make a co*cktail out of liquor and your empty fridge, we should talk about ginger ale. This bubbly, sorta spicy, mostly delicious soda is low-key famous for settling stomachs everywhere, but it's also a perfect match for alcohol.

Thyme alone
Add 1/2 oz gin, 1/2 oz syrup, and a splash of cranberry juice to an ice-filled mixer glass. Shake vigorously and pour into your favorite highball glass. Top with ginger ale. Garnish with a sprig of thyme or orange slices.

Southside royale
Lightly muddle 8 mint leaves, 3/4 oz lime juice, and 3/4 sugar syrup in the bottom of a large highball glass. Add 1/2 oz gin and ice then stir vigorously with a long-handled spoon. Top with ginger ale and garnish with a fresh mint sprig

Bourbon bliss
Fill mixer glass with 1/2 oz bourbon and 1/2 oz honey. Shake vigorously and pour into your favorite lowball glass with cubed whiskey ice. Top with Canada Dry Ginger Ale. Garnish with fresh cranberries or fresh mint.

Pour 1 1/2 oz premium bourbon and 5 oz ginger ale in a highball glass with ice. Stir, then garnish with a lemon peel.

Add 4 oz. Original Bruce Cost Ginger Ale, 1½ oz. El Tesoro Reposado tequila, ¾ oz. lime juice, and ½ oz. crème de cassis in a mixing glass and stir. Pour into an ice-filled glass and garnish with an orange twist.

Scotch & Ginger Highball
Combine ½ oz. Compass Box Whiskey Scotch and 1½ oz. Original Bruce Cost Ginger Ale in an ice-filled glass and garnish with a large mint spring and a lime wheel.

Spiced Pineapple Rum Punch
Combine 1 c. Kōloa Spice Rum, ½ c. Kōloa White Rum, 2½ c. pineapple juice, 1 c. orange juice, ½ c. lime juice, a few dashes simple syrup, and a few drops citrus bitters in a pitcher without ice.
Let chill a few hours before serving to blend the flavors. Dip 6 to 8 glasses in a shallow bowl with a tablespoon or so of simple syrup in it, then into a shallow bowl with cinnamon sugar and rim the tops of the glasses evenly. Set aside to dry.
When ready to serve, pour into a large pitcher, then top with 1 c. ginger ale and 1 c. lemon-lime soda. Fill glasses with ice and pour in punch. Garnish with a pineapple wedge.

Flora Adora
Combine 4 oz. Original Bruce Cost Ginger Ale, 1½ oz. Plymouth gin, ¾ oz. Small Hand Foods Raspberry Gum Syrup, and ¾ oz. lemon juice in a shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously and pour into a glass. Garnish with a blackberry or a sprig of rosemary.
